Our Story
Filmistaani Media Pvt Ltd is a company formed by us for us. We are A Films & Music Alliance Company!
We had this idea in mind for over 2 years before actually bringing out our thoughts into paper and then implementing it as a reality. This is to create a family of all artists trying to find a secure place within the industry.
We are you, no different. We have been looking for an opportunity in the industry for over a decade. We have in the past knocked on hundreds of doors with no luck. Why no luck?
1. Because we did not stick around for long.
2. Lack of patience.
3. Financial Crunch.
4. No Industry Influence/Connects.
5. Job compulsion.
We have been there, seen it all, experienced it ourselves and we know what it’s like to be in the situation for months, and years for a few, with no fixed income or any source of income at all, sleepless nights, a compromised stomach & whatnot. We know it. We can relate to it.
That’s when we came up with this idea to bring us all under one roof. A common platform for all of us. A new family born!!

The Reality
We have all struggled in the past and yet doing so!
How many Pros do we have of being a struggler? And how many cons do we have? Let’s talk about the Pro’s
- Choice – You get to do what you’re passionate about!
- Money – You earn well!
- Fame – You make a name in the industry and people know you!
- Dream – You live a life you dreamt of!
Let’s talk about the Cons now. Not everyone has a godfather. So the chances of you getting work are not zero, but minimal. Most likely the work
would go to someone who has a connection in the industry even if he is not as greatly talented as you.That breaks you!
Compromise on the work quality that you think you deserve. Maybe you think you deserve to get a role as a support-
ing actor, and then you just get a role as one in the cheering crowd. You need the money too. You need to survive.
And you need a start. So you say YES. That breaks you!
Even if you are getting a break and an opportunity, surviving and sustaining with consistency is not guaranteed.
That breaks you!
Actors/Actresses sometimes have to go through a very humiliating situation to get work. Sexual favors are one of
them. No matter how deserving you are. We do know of a few instances and cases which have been highlighted in
the past. What we don’t know is that there probably would be millions of others who might have gone through the
same, however, preferred and opted to stay silent. That breaks you!
A lot of discouragement. People underestimate you. People would keep on saying you don’t deserve it. People will
laugh at you. No Support. That breaks you!
Struggle requires money. People give up. You either struggle or you take up a regular job as you need to make ends
meet as well. You need to live, eat, breathe, survive. You need money. Struggle requires full-time devotion. Not every-
one can afford it. Let’s be practical. How many of us have a 9-5 job and they also make time to struggle and then
achieve what they have wanted always. Just a few. They were either extremely talented, or they were on the right
path or blessed. That breaks you!
Long hectic work hours – You might think that getting associated with the industry will eventually get you to work.
You are an extremely talented singer and you take up a helper/spot boy job just to get the environment you are
looking for which would eventually pay off or work in your favor. If you are lucky it works, if you’re not, it leads to disap-
pointment and frustration and you become someone just caught in the wrong job. That breaks you!
Kumara Krishnan is a wonderful singer, a born talent, He has a lovely voice which he feels is magical and a few
people agree to it as well. And who are these few people? His close ones, family, friends, relatives, colleagues, and
community members. Now he needs to make a name in the industry. What does he do? Where can he start from?
How should he give it a go? When should he ideally start? Do we have a designed path for him? No. Do we know what
he is doing is right? No. Do we guarantee that hard work and dedication would eventually get him what he desires?
No. Do we guarantee him getting rewarded & recognized? No.
The one thing that’s common among us all is HOPE. Hoping to get what we deserve. Hoping to get an opportunity.
Hoping to make it through. Hoping that our dreams come true. Hoping to get rewarded someday. So, if you have the
talent, the passion, the willingness, the craziness, and HOPE, you just got a start! And that’s where Filmistaani Media
Pvt Ltd comes into the picture. We will help you design your path. And yes, we take “Hope” very seriously!!!
